thanks for your post, it was really helpful apart from the final step-
I have the AMD Vision™ Engine Control Center 11.6,
with a AMD Radeon HD 6250 card but when I attach my LG32″ up with HDMI, I get a very clear picutre but have the black borders.

I searched and found suggestiosn on underscan/overscan but no such options exist in this control centre version.

Then I found your post, BUT I don’t get this scaling option under My Digital Flat-Panels menu unfortunately.

Would you know if this may be a driver issue perhaps? I have the latest drivers :(

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
